Pop's Old Company Store and Tavern is located in the small town of Catawba NC. The building was constructed in 1895 and is registered with Preservation North Carolina under the historic district of downtown Catawba. Pops "Wayne Hyatt" is the owner and has converted this building into a Tavern/Restaurant. Pops is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of American class of 71 and has a passion for food. Pops and along with Crystal in the kitchen strive to bring you the best in food, drink and fun. We feature, Line Dancing, Karaoke, Live Bands and fun times! Belly up to our 1930's mahogany Brunswick Art Deco Bar and meet some of the best people at Pop's. We also have our catering permits and we're available for private parties .
