Now OPEN! Babalu could not be more excited about the opening of our second restaurant in North Carolina — Babalu Chapel Hill. Babalu thrives on active community involvement and we are pleased to put down roots in the Eastgate Crossing Shopping Center, a location that has been an integral part of the Chapel Hill for nearly 60 years. We've taken our signature open-kitchen concept to a whole new level by giving it more prominent placement in the main dining room. Guests will also enjoy a mixture of long bar height community tables, perfect for groups, mixed in with traditional seating. With its close proximity to the University of North Carolina and Duke University, we wanted to combine our gourmet tapas and tacos with a whole lot of fun. Play a game in our outdoor seating area while you wait. Once inside, sip on hand crafted cocktails from the indoor/outdoor bar adjacent to our expanded covered patio with added seating. Babalu Chapel Hill is sure to become a hot spot for brunch, lunch, dinner and drinks.
